The trial, commencing on Wednesday, involves 12 charges against the former House of Cards actor, including sexual assault and indecent assault.
These charges pertain to incidents involving four men spanning from 2001 to 2013. Spacey had previously refuted all accusations brought against him.
On Wednesday morning, the 63-year-old actor approached Southwark Crown Court, radiating confidence as he acknowledged and greeted the onlookers with smiles and waves.
Adorned in a well-tailored suit, he was accompanied by members of his legal team, forming a protective presence by his side.
Stepping out of the vehicle, Spacey exchanged pleasantries with the assembled photographers, saying ‘morning’ before making his way inside.
Back in January, the acclaimed actor, who has received an Oscar, pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault, and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without their consent.
