Kim Kardashian’s Bodyguard in Trouble Over France Robbery

Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard is in trouble stemming from the reality star’s robbery in France 2 years ago. The bodyguard is being sued for $6.1m by the celebrity’s insurer.

The insurer, AIG is making claims that Pascal Duvier and his company Protect Security were remiss in their duties in protecting the reality star’s private apartment.

During Paris Fashion Week in October 2016, Kim Kardashian West Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint and tied up. The insurers paid the cost of the jewellery stolen.

According to the star, the five robbers, dressed as police officers, put a gun to her head while they robbed her before tying her up and locking her in a bathroom. During this time the bodyguard was accompanying her sisters to a nightclub.

AIG’s legal action, filed in Delaware, reportedly states that the bodyguard left the celebrity alone in her room.

According to celebrity website TMZ, the suit also asserts there were many security breaches – including a missing or broken lock and a broken intercom system – which they think should also have been taken care of.

Kim Kardashian West is not the only celebrity Mr Duvier and his Protect Security company have allegedly acted as protection for. They have also be in service for other celebrities, including the Black Eyed Peas.
