The Lagos state Government, has said that it will investigate the medical staff, at the hospital were former BBN star popularly known as Rico Swavey was treated before his death.

A 30-second video clip depicting, the former BBN star in his last moments at a hospital in Lagos State surfaced online.

The nurses were attempting to lift him onto a bed when one of them pulled out a phone and began recording him.

Another nurse was overheard warning her colleague not to do so.

“You people should stop making the video; somebody is dying, you people are making video,” the nurse said.

Gbenga Omotoso, the state’s commissioner for information and strategy, informed the public of this and said that the government had launched an investigation.

Regarding the investigation Gbenga Omotos said “That hospital is not a government hospital; we have started an investigation into the unprofessional conducts of those who appeared in that video.”

The public has expressed their disapproval of the popular video even calling for the nurses license to be revoked.

According to reports, the reality TV personality was hurt in a car accident that happened in the Lekki/Ajah neighborhood of Lagos.

Tobi Bakre and other BBN stars took to their social media platforms to solicit for financial aid for Rico.
