Lamar Odom Talks Recovery, Therapy And Reuniting With The Kardashians
Former NBA star, Lamar Odom during a “TMZ Live” appearance has revealed that he will like to get closer to the Kardashians following his fallout with the famous reality TV family.
Odom who was previously married to Khloe Kardashian and appeared on several episodes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” revealed that he has zero regrets about his reality TV past.
According to the 39-year-old, the experience was in fact the best part of his adult life and he desperately wants to repair his relationship with the Kardashians.
Odom also spoke about his journey to recovery saying that taking up motivational speaking with a company called MicDrop has become therapeutic for him. He says he is learning to forgive himself for the mistakes he made in the past; from drug use to other bad life decisions. Odom who believes that one of the mistakes he made is being a bad father and right now, he is including his children in his motivational speaking work and it’s bringing his family closer together.
“This is a great way for me to make up the time I lost with them and help them get better as well,” Odom said.
Speaking on returning to reality TV which many people feel is bad idea, he says that he wouldn’t go back and change a thing. He said:
“Doing reality TV and being married to Khloe, besides having children and besides me doing this motivational speaking that I’m going to start doing, that was the most memorable part and the best part of my adulthood. So, there’s nothing I regret about that.”
“And, hopefully, me going to public speaking can even bring me closer to the Kardashians and help me rebuild that bridge.”
Odom who has never hidden the fact that he would like to reunite with his ex-wife, Khloe and how he will always love her appears to have now accepted that she has moved on and he is ready to settle for a non-romantic friendship.
It would be recalled that Khloe halted her divorce proceedings with Odom when he had a drug overdose in 2015 while at a motel in Nevada.
