Laycon Debunks Rumoured Crush On Sammy Walsh

Since the end of the reality TV show, Big brother Naija, a number of contestants have come on social media and some media houses to debunk some rumours that might have happened during their stay in the show.

This is the case for Laycon, the winner of last year’s edition of Big Brother Naija. Laycon, whose birth name is Olamilekan Agbeleshe, addressed the rumour that he has a crush on TV host Sammy Walsh.

The rapper and reality TV star on Wednesday appeared on “The Dice”, a TV show by the Guardian Nigeria which was also hosted by Walsh. On the show, the 27-year-old rapper spoke about his craft, fame as well as set the record straight on some speculations about himself.

In the course of Laycon’s stay in the Big Brother Naija house, he and fellow housemate Neo argued about the marital status of the media personality, while talking about which celebrity they had a crush on.

Laycon’s fans, who are popularly known as Icons, asked during the IG live show, if the rapper still has a crush on the presenter.

Walsh brought up the issue again during the interview. Although, she first explained, in a friendly and jovial tone, that she is not married in answer to the argument about her marital status by the duo Neo and Laycon. While Laycon on his part clarified that it was Neo that had a crush on Sammy while he just reminded him of her name.

He, however, said he had a crush rather on another media personality, Kemi Smallz.

Sammy Walsh is an award winning presenter, a producer and a model. She is popular for her shows and interviews with MTV and has gained lots of recognition as a media personality.
