Megan Thee Stallion celebrated her 31st birthday in style after her boyfriend, NBA star Klay Thompson, surprised her with a luxury Bentley.
Sharing images from the birthday getaway on Instagram, Megan thanked Thompson and reflected on the trip.
She wrote: “Aw man I was not ready for this birthday trip to be over. A time was definitely had. THANK YOU BABY.” The posts showed the pair enjoying on a vacation, including time on a boat and at the beach, and a picture of the blue Bentley.
The gift followed a week of shared celebrations, as the couple’s birthdays fall just days apart.
Thompson, who plays for the Dallas Mavericks, has received a similar gesture from Megan on his birthday. For his 36th birthday on February 8, she organised a private celebration that included a performance by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
The couple made their relationship public in July 2025 and have been seen together in recent days, attending NBA games and celebrating Megan’s milestone as she opened her first Popeyes franchise in South Beach, Miami.
During Thanksgiving last year, Megan posted herself preparing a full dinner for Thompson’s family.
Thompson, now in his 13th NBA season, earns a reported $16.67 million annually.
Megan Pete, professionally known as Megan Thee Stallion, was born in San Antonio, Texas, but grew up in Houston’s South Park neighbourhood. Her upbringing in Houston is a major influence on her music, and she often references her Texas roots in her songs.
She is a Grammy Award winner. She won three awards at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021. She won Best New Artist, Best Rap Song for the “Savage” Remix with Beyoncé, and Best Rap Performance for the same track.
Megan became the first female artist to win Best Rap Song and only the second female rapper to win Best New Artist.
