Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has responded to the public comments made by her estranged husband, Fisayo Michael, popularly known as MC Fish, asking him to stop dragging her into online disputes and allow her move on with her life.

In a post shared on her Instagram story, the actress said she had no interest in engaging in public arguments with her former partner, especially at the beginning of a new year.

“Memo to my ex. I don’t want to run in the mud with you,” Anita Joseph wrote. “Please, this is a new year. If you have whatever you want to say, please say it now and let me get on with my life.”

She added that she did not understand who her estranged husband was fighting with online and asked him to leave her out of the matter.

“I don’t know who you are fighting with online, but please leave me out of whatever you are fighting. This new year is growth and all positivity for me. Stop dragging me back with your mess,” she stated.

The actress ended her message with a firm appeal, writing, “Shalom!! Leave me alone!!!”

Anita Joseph’s reaction comes shortly after MC Fish took to social media to address claims that he depended on her financially during their marriage. In a series of Instagram posts, the hypeman and MC defended his profession and insisted he had worked hard for his income long before and during the marriage.

MC Fish said he had been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years and described as false the narrative that he was being fed by his wife.

He challenged the claim that Anita Joseph single-handedly handled household bills during their five-year marriage and warned that he would respond if lies were told about him.

Anita Joseph, however, appeared uninterested in continuing the public exchange.

The actress did not directly address the specific claims made by her estranged husband. Instead, she emphasised her wish to stay out of online confrontations and concentrate on personal growth in the new year.
