Announcing two new “Avengers” film and releasing the first teaser for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Marvel made a triumphant return to Comic-Con. They also expanded the next two stages of the hugely successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel, and a slew of celebrities and filmmakers displayed video and teased a number of upcoming projects that will be a part of the recently dubbed “Multiverse Saga” between now and 2025.

While Jonathan Majors teased his role as the villainous Kang in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” (Feb. 17, 2023) and director James Gunn hinted at the conclusion of his space misfits story in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” Ryan Coogler, the director of “Wakanda Forever” (in theatres Nov. 11), paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman (May 5, 2023).

Director Ryan Coogler of “Wakanda Forever” enters the room to talk about the follow-up after a group of African musicians rouses the crowd.

Although he isn’t physically present, he is remembered as “the late, great Chadwick Boseman” and it is stated that “his imprint on our industry will be felt forever.”

In addition to introducing new performers, Coogler claims that the film “goes to new locations in Wakanda we haven’t seen before and new corners of the MCU.” Dominique Thorne plays Riri Williams also known as Ironheart, while Tenoch Huerta plays Namor the Sub-Mariner.

An emotional Huerta explains, “I’m from the hood, and I wouldn’t be here without inclusion. Kids in their neighbourhoods are staring at us and fantasising about being here.
