Miley Cyrus who has been open about her drug use had quit smoking marijuana in the summer.

Now the 26-year-old has revealed that her mother Tish is the reason she has started smoking weed again.

The popstar disclosed that she has started smoking weed again with her mother but not while she is working.

She told The Sun: ‘We toke a little. Every now and then, you know. My mum got me back on it.

‘When I’m just working I don’t think I function at my highest, most intelligent, most being-able-to-be-as-aware-and-as-present, so I don’t smoke when I work.’

The singer said that smoking marijuana had effects on her energy level and affected her performance.

She told the publication: ‘It doesn’t allow me to have as much energy as I’d like to have or to focus on my work… I really want to be clear about my music.

‘For me, I wanted to be clear-headed.’
