Drake’s viral song God’s Plan, has literally become God’s plan by staying on top [for the fifth week] of the “Billboard Hot 100” in the US making it twice more popular than the no 2 on the chart, Ed Sheeran’s Perfect.

With 101.7 million streams in the US, it has become the second song to hit the 100 million streams mark in a week (22 February, 2018) staying slightly behind the Baauer Harlem’s Shake. Shake had 103.1 million by March 2, 2013.

The song’s huge success is partly as a result of the charitable works done in the video and its critical appraisal from millions of people.

It also earned the number one spot also on the Digital Song Sales chart and is number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Songs.
