Afro-Hip-Hop artiste ICE COD, signed to MastaPlanMusic, has received recognition from 3:16 Entertainment Inc., which named his second 2026 Hip-Hop album as Hip-Hop Album of the Year.

The recognition celebrates an artist whose sound continues to evolve at the intersection of authentic Hip-Hop, African musical influences, contemporary production, and cultural storytelling.

For ICE COD, the honour represents more than an award. It recognises the creativity, consistency, ambition, and artistic growth that have defined his journey, and his determination to help African Hip-Hop continue to grow on the global stage.

The award arrives during what has already become a defining year for ICE COD. His second studio album of 2026 has helped strengthen his position within the Afro-Hip-Hop space while showcasing a distinctive artistic identity built around lyricism, African influences, contemporary sounds, and stories rooted in cultural experience.

As an artist signed to MastaPlanMusic, ICE COD is steadily building a catalogue that reflects both artistic ambition and commercial potential. Rather than simply following established trends, he is developing a recognisable sound and identity while embracing the possibilities of a new generation of African music.

For MastaPlanMusic, the achievement represents another important step in its commitment to developing artists with the potential to make an impact beyond their immediate markets.

With this latest recognition, ICE COD continues to build momentum — and the Hip-Hop Album of the Year honour could prove to be one of the defining moments in the next chapter of his career.
