Prolific Nigerian music producer and sound engineer Promix also known as Probaba has in the course of his over a decade long career remained consistent and created a spot for himself in the country’s space.

Born William Odion, Promix started as a music producer and musician and was popularly known as Stepsup in the southern parts of Nigeria. The 32-year-old Edo state native was born and raised in Port Harcourt

He has worked with a number of high profile artistes over the past decade including Oritsefemi, Dremo, Sunny Neji, Waconzy. Others on the list include Fiokee, Sugarboyy, Ajuju and a lot more.

In the early days of his career, he released an album as Mr. Stepsup William titled Mmadabuchi and another EP in 2016 titled Impact, as a follow-up project.

In 2019 he released a producer compilation album titled the Provibezz EP which also gave birth to Provibez sessions.

Provibez EP is also available on digital stores.

Provibez session is a performance web series that hosts musicians. All the music performed on Provibez sessions is produced by Promix.

The relentless talent is currently working on a lot of new projects and a rebranding of the Provibez sessions which will feature a lot of A-list artistes
