Nigerian singer Adekunle Temitope, better known as Small Doctor, and his partner have welcomed their first child together.
The singer’s partner, who is based in Ontario, Canada, announced the child’s arrival via her Instagram page on Monday evening, expressing gratitude to God. She also shared maternity photos of herself and Small Doctor, describing their newborn as her “sunshine.”
Dressed in a flowing red gown with a matching veil, she cradled her baby bump in the pictures. “Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!! Alhamdulillah Robbil Aalamin!!! Welcome to the world, sunshine,” she wrote.

Small Doctor, known for his energetic street-hop sound, rose to fame in 2015 with the breakout hit “Mosquito Killer”, followed by the widely popular “Penalty”, which won Best Street Hop at The Headies in 2018. His albums, Omo Iya Teacher (2015) and Street Ambassador (2018), further cemented his status as a street music icon.
Beyond his solo career, he has collaborated with top Nigerian artists, including Olamide, Davido, and Reminisce.
As news of his child’s birth spread, fans and colleagues flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating this new chapter in the singer’s life.
Currently, he has been quiet in the news lately and has halted his music for over a year.
