The former President Goodluck Jonathan’s adviser, Dr. Reuben Abati has responded to a follower who asked how he convinced his wife to marry him, considering her beauty.

Abati, journalist and TV presenter had shared photos from his family vacation in London, UK, on Instagram with the caption, “From Families to Families. Celebrating my Family for Life.”

The follower, @ mrrbrainz after seeing the post, took to the comment section and asked, “Dr. Abati, how did you marry this lady? It’s not like you even have money. So, what happened?”

Abati responded with a humorous remark, suggesting that their union wasn’t about money.

He replied, “All you all know is money. I used juju to marry her,” followed by several laughing emojis in between the text.

Kikelomo Atanda-Owo, have been married since 2020. She is a renowned broadcaster and the host of the talk show “RealTalkWithKike.” Their marriage has been a subject of public interest, particularly due to Abati’s humorous and public comments about their relationship.

In May 2023, Abati vowed to pay a second bride price to Kikelomo’s family. He wrote on social media platforms: “It’s officially four years today, 15th May, Kikelomo Atanda-Owo. Guess what, Kiki! We have forever to spend in each other’s arms. On our fifth anniversary next year, I’ll return to your family to pay another bride price as a renewed symbol of my devotion and dedication to your happiness.

“I may have a million truths to prove to you, but I need a lifetime to accomplish that. Keep being yourself, Kiki. As I tell you every day, I love you, Kiki! Here’s to us, my wife.”
