Popular Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, has expressed his sadness over the passing of his former record label artist, Mohbad. he sees him as a brother while paying his respect on his instagram page.

Naira Marley shared his heartfelt sentiments on Instagram, stating that Mohbad was not just an artist or signee but a cherished brother and friend. Mohbad, aged 27, sadly passed away, with the cause of his death remaining undisclosed. He was laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Naira Marley fondly remembered Mohbad for his impactful music, which included hit songs like KPK, Peace, Komajesun, Pariwo, and more. 

In a statement, Naira Marley described Mohbad as a talented force with heartwarming lyrics, captivating storytelling, an infectious smile, and boundless energy. The news of his passing has left a permanent void in their hearts.

He also changed his Instagram profile picture to an image of Mohbad in remembrance of their time together. However the Police are on their investigations as it concerns the death of the fast rising star.
