Before his untimely passing, Mohbad had taken to Instagram Live to voice his distress. He mentioned his earlier arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) alongside Zinoleesky and others. Mohbad claimed that upon his release, he faced threats from members of the Marlian music group, which added to his anguish.
In his words, “I’m just trying to ask, am I a bad boy? I don’t really mean it from my mind. So I don’t know, these people have been hating on me. They have been doing bad things to me, I went mad because of this issue, now they are trying to kill me.”
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic passing remain unclear, and Naira Marley has hinted that more information will be revealed in due time.
This heartrending situation serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing mental health and offering support to those in need. Our thoughts go out to Mohbad’s loved ones during this difficult time.
