Afeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, has issued a stern warning to Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, demanding an apology and compensation.

Represented by Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co, Naira Marley sent a legal letter accusing Ojo of spreading false and damaging information about him on her Instagram account.

Sharing a copy of the document through his lawyer’s Instagram page, the embattled musician has always maintained his innocence regarding the death of his former signee Mohbad, whose death has raised a lot of concerns internationally.

The accusations stem from a September 2023 post where Ojo alleged that Naira Marley had a spiritual and physical connection with the late singer Mohbad, while also accusing the musician of lacing her children with drugs each time they visit him.

Recall Iyabo Ojo had disclose this in a video making the rounds on social media, she said; “Is it that same Naira Marley that I was thinking he is a sensible person? Even my children go to his house and he would be giving them drugs to take. He put it in their food and drink. Is it that kind of person you want me to support?”

“The Naira Marley and Sam Larry that you’re supporting have plenty cases to answer. When my children go to his house, he spiced their drink with drugs, which two or three people have testified that they were there.”

However the legal document insists that Iyabo Ojo issues a public apology on her official Instagram page and in a national daily within seven days of receiving the letter.

Her failure to comply would result in Naira Marley pursuing legal action, seeking damages amounting to a staggering N500 million.
