In the two shots, Minaj is posing nude on top of a desk and decked out in drips of diamonds, holding two fluffy heart pillows to cover herself.

“F R I D A Y,” the tweet’s caption reads along with a fingers-crossed emoji.

Her fans are extremely excited and hoping for some new music from Minaj as she hasn’t released anything this year. The rapper was last featured on YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s November release, “What That Speed Bout?!” and “Move Ya Hips” with A$AP Ferg and MadeinTYO. Her last solo track was “Yikes” which she dropped in February of last year.

The Trinidadian-born artist has been on a bit of a hiatus since she became a new mom and welcomed her first child back in September. She hasn’t posted on her social media much since then and enjoying the beauty of motherhood.

Minaj released her last studio album, Queen, in 2018 so this makes her fan s rightfully excited for this announcement.

She has also been working on her HBO Max docuseries, which the artist shared will give her fans a more “unfiltered” look into her personal life and professional journey.

In her absence, her Barbz organized a campaign to boost downloads and streams of her song “LLC.” The Queen track hit No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart nearly three years after its release.

Also, fans went wild after they noticed Nicki and Rihanna had started following each other on Instagram once again. Speculation arose the pair may have been collaborating on new music.

The pair have been at the center of feud rumors for a while, but when Nicki was asked about it back in 2019 she evaded the question.

By Friday, fans will know what Nicki has been up to.
