Popular internet personality and cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has claimed that he was arrested by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) while trying to leave the country.

Bobrisky, who had recently shared plans to relocate, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday night to announce his alleged arrest.

He appealed to his fans in a post, saying, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
Bobrisky’s run-ins with law enforcement are no stranger to the headlines.
However, there are videos and reports that Bobrisky was removed from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight and detained by immigration officers late on the same Thursday night.
Reports detail several incidents where he clashed with authorities, including Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
