No Nigerian actor can buy Range Rover from acting alone – Bimbo Manuel
Nollywood actor Bimbo Manuel has said no Nigerian actor can afford a Range Rover purely from acting.
The 66-year-old actor, known for his steady, respected career in Nollywood, shared his thoughts on the show Your View, which aired on TVC, today, November 7, 2024.
Manuel, who has made a name with roles that connect deeply with audiences, didn’t mince words as he spoke about the realities behind the glamour many see on social media.

“The actors you see flaunting Range Rovers and mansions in Ikoyi are living fake lives,” he stated.
“No actor in Nigeria would say he or she can buy a Range Rover from acting fees alone.”
Manuel revealed that he prefers to live a modest, grounded life, and doesn’t see the need for extravagant displays.
He suggested that many of his colleagues who show off luxury cars and lavish homes are often putting on a “fake” front.
For Manuel, simplicity speaks louder, and he finds satisfaction in keeping his lifestyle real.
