Offset Sued By Beverly Hills Jeweler For Owing $47,000
Peter Marco of Extraordinary Jewels Beverly Hills is going after the Migos rapper, Offset, for $47,000, for what he claims are unpaid fees from an October 2018 transaction at his store according to TMZ.
The legal document from the court includes a copy of an invoice allegedly showing Offset bought some bling for $110k, but only paid $63k at the time, thereby, leaving the balance of $47k.
According to Marco, his legal team sent Offset a letter in early December demanding the payment within 7 days, but it looks like they didn’t get it. So now, the jeweler wants the full amount, plus interest and attorney fees.
The lawsuit also lists Quality Control Music COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee. The record label representing Migos.
This lawsuit is coming after Offset and his wife, Cardi B, acquired a mansion which was listed at $5.75 million by listing agents Molly Beery and Cia Cummings of Dorsey Alston Realtors, however, we don’t know what they paid.
Offset is an American rapper and songwriter. He is a member of the hip hop and trap music trio Migos, alongside his cousin Quavo and his nephew Takeoff. He is also an investor in esports organization FaZe Clan.
Offset has released solo music and collaborated with numerous artists. In June 2017, he was featured on Metro Boomin’s single “No Complaints” alongside Drake, which peaked at number 71 on the Billboard Hot 100, and in September he joined Macklemore on the song “Willy Wonka”, from the album Gemini.
