Oops! She did it again. Okay maybe not again but yes, Britney Spears yesterday revealed that some months ago, she mistakenly burnt down a home gym.

The “Oops…I Did It Again” hitmaker took to Instagram to share the frightening event of burning down her gym.

In the video she posted, the 38-year-old pop star addressed rumours about her well being.

“I haven’t been in here for, like, six months because I burnt my gym down, unfortunately,” she said as she stood in the gym, which appeared to have been restored. “I had two candles and, yeah, one thing led to another and I burned it down.”

The “Lucky” crooner went on to give more details in her caption writing:

“… I walked past the door to the gym and flames … By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt.”

After opening up about the blaze, Spears shared a workout routine that could be completed with the “two pieces of equipment” she had left in her “one-sided mirror gym.”

The singer often shares light-hearted exercise videos with her 24 million Instagram followers.

Britney’s mental health has been a source of concern for many fans but judging from the videos she posted, she appears to be doing well. In the videos she shared, she expressed how happy she is and how much she misses her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, among other things.

“I have been quarantining since I got back from Louisiana weeks ago …. so basically I haven’t seen my boyfriend @samasghari in what feels like a lifetime,” she wrote. “I have actually lost weight from missing him …. now none of my pants or shorts fit.”

In 2007, the “Toxic” singer had a mental breakdown that was the subject of public spectacle.

The image of Britney, 37, emerging from a salon with a freshly-shaven head and attacking a paparazzo’s car with an umbrella has become one of the most famous snaps of that decade.
