Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners have emerged as the strongest contenders at the 98th Academy Awards, leading nominations across major acting, directing and technical categories.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled the 2026 nominees on Thursday. The event is set to hold on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with Conan O’Brien returning as host.
