Popular content creators Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, celebrated their marriage at a star-studded ceremony in Lekki, Lagos State, on Saturday.

The event brought together family members, entertainers, socialites, business figures and some of Nigeria’s leading digital creators.

The couple appeared in traditional Benin attire as they observed marriage customs and celebrated their union with guests.

They also shared photographs from the ceremony through a joint Instagram post.

“Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins, and forever starts now,” they wrote.

A day before the ceremony, Peller and Jarvis released their final pre-wedding photographs and told followers that they had stopped counting down because they were “starting forever.”

The celebration attracted attention online under the hashtags #JP2026 and #Jarpel2026, with videos of the couple, guests, performances and gifts circulating across social media.

One of the biggest moments came when real estate entrepreneur King Mohamed Adah, popularly known as King Ochacho, announced that he was giving the couple a mansion reportedly worth ₦400 million in Abuja.

Adah, the founder of Ochacho Real Homes, made the announcement before guests at the ceremony.

“On behalf of my children, I am presenting a brand new house for you worth ₦400 million in Abuja. Congratulations, Peller,” he said.

Videos showed guests cheering as the newlyweds embraced following the announcement.

The gift followed an earlier promise Adah made during the wedding of music executive Soso Soberekon.

At the event, the businessman invited Peller to his wedding, requested his phone number and promised to support his marriage plans.

“I am going to send you six zeros, millions,” he said at the time.

Another guest, identified as Oga 9ja, presented Peller and Jarvis with a ceremonial cheque for ₦10 million during the reception.

The guest entered the venue wearing a full pink elephant mascot costume, black sunglasses, a white agbada-style outfit and coral beads.

The oversized cheque was addressed to “Mr & Mrs Adelaja” and carried the amount of ₦10,000,000, written as Ten Million Naira Only.

Videos captured the couple receiving the cheque as guests cheered and recorded the presentation. Captions attached to the videos described it as a “Massive wedding gift.”

Socialite Cubana Chief Priest also presented the couple with ₦10 million, bringing the value of announced gifts from the three guests to about ₦420 million.

Following the presentation, Oga 9ja promoted a website connected to an upcoming campaign involving the couple’s future family.

The platform, branded “Peller’s Biggest Drop Yet,” asks followers to predict whether the couple’s first child will be a boy, girl or twins.

The campaign is scheduled to launch on August 14, 2026.

According to information displayed on the landing page, participation is free, while those who submit predictions could qualify for cash giveaways ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦250,000 through raffle draws.

The platform also asks participants to provide their phone numbers to receive what it calls a “unique welcome offer” when the campaign begins.

Nigerian socialite and nightlife personality Pretty Mike also drew attention with one of his trademark theatrical entrances.

He arrived with about 20 people dressed as medical workers in laboratory coats and face masks. Some members of the group also carried intravenous drips as part of the performance.

Pretty Mike led the mock medical procession into the venue before approaching Peller to congratulate him.

He later explained the idea behind the entrance in an Instagram post.

“They said it’s a sick world out here, well as u can see, I walk around with my own team of medical practitioners #jp2026 #jarpel2026 this is the definition of a love story made in Lagos #LookTwo,” he wrote.

The ceremony also featured luxury vehicles, designer outfits, musical performances and other expensive gifts.

Nollywood actors at the event included Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Badmus, Moyo Lawal, Jigan Baba Oja and Foluke Daramola.

Musicians in attendance included Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, Sule Alao Malaika, Seun Kuti, Zinoleesky, Berri Tiga and Silly Music.

Content creators and influencers at the wedding included Priscilla Ojo, Purple Speedy, Nons Miraj, Papaya Ex, Isbae U, Kamo State, Aunty Ramota, Geh Geh, Batife, Shindara, Jo Blaq, Diadem Adeola and Samuel Banks.

Kidbaby, Tee Dollar, Alvin of Lagos, Tunde Perry, Smart BM, Momma Dessy, Rufai Bukky Ojo, Jojo of Lele, Cute Abiola, Seun Pizzle and T Dollar also attended.

Other guests included Cubana Chief Priest, Pretty Mike, King Ochacho, Daddy Freeze, Soso Soberekon and Sam Larry.

International guest Gregory Pizarro Jr. was also present.

The ceremony marked another stage in a marriage journey that had unfolded publicly over several months.

In June 2026, Peller proposed to Jarvis during a private beachside ceremony at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana.

Jarvis accepted the proposal during a moment that later gained widespread attention online.

A week later, Peller paid Jarvis’ bride price during a traditional introduction ceremony in her hometown of Benin City, Edo State.

He described the occasion as the beginning of their journey together.

The couple subsequently announced August 1, 2026, as their wedding date.

They also released behind-the-scenes clips from a wedding-themed video shoot. One video showed them pretending to argue while members of the production crew watched and laughed.

Before the main celebration, Peller and Jarvis legally formalised their marriage at a court wedding in Lagos on July 29.

Family members, friends and media personality Daddy Freeze attended the civil ceremony.

Peller drew laughter during the proceedings when he reacted to the marriage registrar’s explanation that bigamy carries a minimum prison sentence of five years without an option of a fine.

The content creator also disclosed that he attended private traditional pre-marriage counselling in Ikorodu.

According to him, the counselling was intended to teach him how to care for Jarvis and become a responsible husband.

Ahead of the wedding, Peller revealed during a livestream that he planned to spend their honeymoon across eight countries.
