The government has eased the lockdown, although not without a few restrictions. Be that as it may, many of us are just glad to have the opportunity to venture out, work or not.

As we head back to the office after having spent so many weeks at home, some of our work clothes no longer look practical so we might have to purchase new ones. So when you go clothes shopping, remember to get what you need and not what you want. Also, make sure you look out for durability.

It must be noted that the attire you wear to the office is largely dependent on your workplace or office culture, as some require more formality than others.

Face Masks
Like it or not, facemasks have come here to stay, at least, till the pandemic ends. While no one knows for certain when this would be, facemasks are not just a life-saving essential, they can also be a fashion statement if you invest in a number of fashion-forward face masks.

Classic Business Wears
This is the most common form of dressing you would see in most offices. But, you don’t want to look boring, so make sure to always wear a statement piece, or add a fun item to your look (shoes, bag, jewellery, watch, nails).

For men, this includes formal suit, tie, business shirt, upscale sports jackets with ties and a business shirt, leather dress shoes, appropriate conservative leather accessories such as briefcases. And for women, skirt suits or pants suits with formal business blouses or tops, stockings, closed-toe and heel leather shoes, and appropriate business accessories including a briefcase.

Smart business casual
This is a combination of professional and informal attire.

For men, this includes a sports jacket with a tie, dress pants, button-down or traditional business shirt or nice turtleneck, dress shoes, and attractive accessories as described in traditional business attire. And for women, jacket or dressy sweater, dress pants or skirt, blouse, shirt, top or turtleneck, hose, dress shoes, and accessories as described in traditional business attire.
