“XO Tour Llif3” rapper Lil Uzi Vert has taken on new pronouns They/Them.

The rapper has also updated their Instagram bio to reflect their new pronouns.

Lil Uzi Vert, real name Symere Woods, has, however, not commented on the name change.

They/them are gender-neutral pronouns that are frequently used by non-binary, genderfluid, and genderqueer persons to indicate that they do not identify as either men or women.

The celebrity has a history of supporting the LGBTQ+ community and is well-known for their androgynous, gender-bending sense of fashion.

In 2019, GQ wrote that Uzi has a “flirtation with outfits that tweak traditional masculinity.”

Lil Uzi Vert made headlines earlier this month after throwing a fan’s phone back into the crowd at Wireless Festival in the U.K. It hit a fan in the head, causing an injury that left her in need of medical assistance.

People Magazine reports that a source close to the rapper claimed that fans kept throwing multiple cellphones on stage.

“[Lil Uzi Vert] merely attempted to clear the phones from the stage, avoid slipping and safely continue [their] performance — [they] never intentionally directed it at a specific individual.”
