Blessing Okoro, a relationship expert, was granted bail on Tuesday by the Federal High Court in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, for suspected cyberbullying.

Blessing known as “Blessing CEO,” on six counts relating to alleged cyberbullying, libel, and showing unedited films before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court.

Blessing CEO’s attorney applied for bail on her behalf before Judge Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday. It was noted that the police did not object to the request for bail.

The police requested that the judge exercise its discretion while setting bail requirements. In the absence of an objection, the judge granted bail to Blessing CEO to the tune of N10 million bail with equal sureties.

She was also charged with spreading hatred, contempt, and ridicule toward Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna through her Instagram account, @officialblessingceo, according to the police.

She was accused of also showing the film and video “Sweet Sour” without a National Film & Video Censors Board license and without possessing a censorship certificate (NFVCB).

Among the messages the blogger sent, according to the prosecutor, were, “Let’s ask Mamajazz where her father is??? Their father had exactly the same issue with their mother Ebele and he ran away for us (sic) dear life. IVD’s crime was that he was not man enough to run…”

“The family of late Bimbo is after IVD’’s properties and life. Especially her elder sister Mamajazz. Bimbo and IVD are well-known people in Lagos and it’s not a hidden fact that even in their estate, Bimbo is violent.”
