Iwunor Anselm Chibuzor, better known as Richplug, has a new song titled ‘Ogbe Cartel’.

Ogbe Cartel, a new song by Iwunor Anselm Chibuzor, better known as Richplug, a Nigerian music star based in Cyprus, has been scorching the airwaves and garnering unprecedented praise from music fans all over the world.

Richplug’s wavy single arrived months after he collaborated with Eastside rapper JeriQ on a remix of his song ‘Olu.’ Richplug and JeriQ’s duet reached its pinnacle when it attracted massive support from music fans across the country.

Richplug is dedicated to charting his path to the top in order to play with the big boys in the top league, having previously stated his desire to work with Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Richplug said: “It is my dream to collaborate with Wizkid and Burna Boy and I know I have what it takes. Wizkid and Burna Boy motivate me to be my best. I find peace, comfort and fun in their way of singing, they motivate me to do greater things and put in my best.”

The artiste, who attended Trinity Secondary School in Onitsha Anambra State, Nigeria, is currently studying for his Bachelor in Business Administration in Cyprus.

Richplug is already doing big things, as his song ‘Ogbe Cartel’ danced its way up the charts to the ‘song of the week’ on the Naijabeat Countdown this past week, despite the fact that he has yet to collaborate with his music idols, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

This is a remarkable achievement for the youngster, who has the potential to achieve even greater things if he keeps his head down and remains focused.

Despite the avalanche of competition in the domestic music industry, Richplug stated that he would not be intimidated by it.

“I am here to stay and write my name in gold. I believe i will get to the top. It’s just a matter of time. I am focused, talented and creative. I just want to be great for real, so I know I will have to put more effort into what I want. I don’t see anyone as competition”.
