Rihanna and her baby bump made it to the cover of Vogue magazine for the 2022 May issue.
The Fenty CEO who hopes to redefine what society considers decent for pregnant women has been redefining the fashion trend with her baby bump. Speaking to Vogue she opened up on her daring pregnant styles.

She said “When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, there’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I’m sorry—it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.”

The singer revealed via pictures that broke the internet in January wearing a pink coat and her baby bump bejewelled that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend, ASAP Rocky.

Speaking on relationship with ASAP Rocky upgrading beyond the friend zone she said ‘‘People don’t get out of the friend zone very easily with me. And I certainly took a while to get over how much I know him and how much he knows me because we also know how much trouble we can land each other in. What I love the most about us? Transparency with everything: how we’re feeling, what our goals are, what our fears and insecurities are. The vulnerability to be able to say what you feel about each other.’’

Since the pregnancy news, Riri has been seen at events with her baby bump proudly on display, speaking on that the singer said “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that,” she said “This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?’’

The singer does not take the praise alone for her pregnancy looks but credits Jahleel Weever, for her looks so far.
On her fear of pregnancy, the singer said, “Postpartum depression. Will I feel out of control emotionally? Those are the stories I hear from other women that scare me.”

Rihanna was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the May issue of Vogue cover wearing a red sheer Alaïa bodysuit, glove, and shoes finished up with Chopard earrings.
It is not the first time that vogue has celebrated pregnant women on its cover.
