Influencer, Simi Sanya, and music video producer and Nouvelle Films founder, Femi Dapson, have been legally married in a court ceremony in Lagos State.
The legal ceremony held on Wednesday, February 18.
Simi announced the development on Instagram, writing, “Legally Hitched. Mr & Mrs Dapson To You Forever.”

The court wedding makes their union legally binding under Nigerian law, coming days after Dapson marked Valentine’s Day with love messages displayed on digital billboards in the Lekki area of Lagos.
On Saturday, Dapson, founder of Nouvelle Films and also known as Uncle Dapson on X, shared photos and videos of the billboards in Lekki Phase 1 and Lekki Phase 2.
He wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day from me to my sweet baby, #simisanya. A private message wasn’t enough, I needed to shout it so everyone can see so here we go.

“My message to you is on display the entire day on both sides of the billboards at Lekki phase 1 and Lekki phase 2.”
Reacting, Simi wrote, “When I saw this, I screamed! Didn’t see this coming, honestly. I love him soooooooo much. I love you, my baby!! You are amazing.”

The couple got engaged in July 2025 after Dapson proposed in an intimate setting that featured a live serenade, an event that was widely shared online.
They moved from the proposal to a family introduction in November 2025, which Dapson tagged as “1/4.”
At the court wedding on Wednesday, Simi wore a white dress with a high neckline and long sleeves, paired with a waist length veil, while Dapson wore a beige suit with a matching shirt and pocket square.

The couple had earlier disclosed that their wedding is scheduled for March 2026.
