Singer, Akinsanya Hammed. Aka SpiceBoy, has said his new single song, Grace, is inspired by the challenges he has experienced in life. He told journalist during press conference in Lagos.

“My life story inspired my song, Grace,” he said in an interview with The Guardian. “The kind of life my parents and I led before I travelled to live with my uncle was very tough.

He added: “We faced challenges. I thank god for his grace in my life.

“Aside music, I have two other businesses, which are my sources of income.”

On the challenges he faces as an afrobeat artist, SpiceBoy said: “I faced some embarrassment at shows when I attended uninvited. However, one has to showcase one’s talent at shows.

“That is the stage I am at presently and I have a project coming out very soon titled Evergreen.”

SpiceBoy also said that he is in the music industry “to entertain and preach with my music. I believe it will touch people who listen to it.”
