Spice Girls Cancel World Tour Over Lesbian Allegations
Spice Girls reunion tour is about to come to an end after the girls reportedly backed out.
Melanie ‘Mel B’ Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chishol are reportedly having issues after Mel B admitted to a lesbian fling with Geri Horner in the ’90s.
The Mail stated that Mel B revealed that the reason for the internal conflict and tension within the group was as a result of her and Homer’s relationship in the past.
A source told Mail, “It has been a hugely dramatic week. At one point last Sunday, the tour wasn’t happening. They agreed that they had to do the British dates because they are under contract and they don’t want to let their fans down, but there won’t be any more. There had been plans to keep it going but no more.”
Confirming the story, Mel B told Piers Morgan, “She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house… but it’s a fact.
“It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.”
But Homer would have none of it.
“It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days,” the statement read.
“Geri loves the Spice Girls… she would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.”
Before now, they had announced that their tour which kicks off only a month away (June) with eight dates across the US, Australia and UK. Victoria Beckham, on the other hand, has said before now in a statement that she will not be able to make it due to “business commitments.”
