Spice Up Your Day With This Avocado-Egg Combo

Avocados have a reputation for being healthy fruits with a high folic acid, vitamin E, vitamin B9 and vitamin B6 content which all come together to increase energy. Eggs, on the other hand, are protein packed and have the ability to keep you going when energy reserved are low. Bringing these two unique foods together and we have a superfood in the name of the Avocado-Egg Pizza.

Ingredients:

  • Greek or pocketless pita, or any kind of flatbread
  • Lemon
  • Ripe avocado
  • Eggs
  • Spices your choice
  • Extra virgin olive oil

 

Method: 

  1. Toast pita until crisp
  2. Mash avocado and spread on pita
  3. Drizzle with a dash of lemon, olive oil and spices.
  4. Place egg cooked to your liking on top and serve.
