Stacey Dash Announces End Of Marriage With Her Fourth Husband
Stacey Dash, the “Clueless” actress, took to social media Thursday to announce the end of her marriage to Jeffrey Marty.
The 53-year-old actress posted a message for her roughly 157,000 followers on Instagram announcing her split from her fourth husband. According to the post:
My husband and I have made the hard decision of ending our marriage. After much prayer, I feel this is the right path for both of us. I wish him nothing but the best. Thank you, everyone, for your support and for respecting our privacy during this difficult time.
The Clueless star and lawyer Marty married in April 2018 in Florida reportedly just 10 days after they first met.
According to The Daily Mail, Dash was arrested for investigation of domestic battery in September in Florida. Body camera footage of her arrest showed Dash handcuffed while being placed in the back of a squad car.
The actress called police to her Florida home claiming that her husband had placed her in a chokehold.
She was arrested for investigation of domestic battery after Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies who arrived on the scene observed that Marty had red scratch marks on his left arm.
Dash was bailed out of jail by her husband and prosecutors in Florida dropped their domestic battery case against her in October.
Stacey Dash was previously married to Brian Lovell, James Maby, and Emmanuel Xuereb.
Stacey is an American actress and former talk show host. Dash played Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 feature film Clueless and its eponymous television series.
She has also appeared in the films Moving, Mo’ Money, Renaissance Man, and View from the Top. Other television work by Dash includes appearances in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Single Ladies, and the reality TV show Celebrity Circus.
The actress has also appeared in music videos for Carl Thomas’ “Emotional” and Kanye West’s “All Falls Down”.
