Steflon Don Shuts Down Rumoured Breakup With Burna Boy
British rapper, Stefflon Don has shut down the rumours currently making the rounds on social media that she and her Nigerian Afropop sensation boyfriend, Burna Boy because he cheated on her with Gambian born, Ghana-based actress, Princess Shyngle.
A social media blog, Instablog9ja had posted some clips of Burna Boy that suggested he was having an affair with Shyngle. In the published clips, Burna Boy was seen having a FaceTime video with Shyngle as a proof of flirting and it was rumoured that this caused Don to break up with the “Ye” crooner.
This rumour sent social media into a frenzy as women and men alike crucified the African giant for cheating on his almost perfect girlfriend.
Reacting to the rumours, Don has rubbished the claims stating that the videos uploaded by InstaBlog9ja were old rendering the story that led to the rumour useless.
In a post on her Instagram stories, the UK rapper said that the video in question was an old video and that everything was fine between herself and Burna Boy.
“OLD OLD VIDEOS, Please let it rest. We good over here. Thanks!” she wrote.
It would be recalled that in February this year, Burna Boy posted pictures of himself with Don and confirmed that his love with her keeps getting stronger. Asides describing her as his “wifey” and the perfect person for him in an interview with @beats1official, he also admits that she amazingly deals with his craziness.
Don in a separate interview of her own also revealed that they met when she was in Ghana. According to her, she missed her flight while on a trip to Ghana and decided to attend a show where Burna Boy performed.
“I met him in Ghana. I was in Africa for a show then I missed my flight, he had a show where he performed and I went to the show and the rest is history baby. He told me I was going to be his wife and you know how boys always talk shit, but I didn’t remember he said that but he told me and I was like wow,” she said.
