‘If the Met Gala is the Oscars of fashion, then the CFDA [Council of Fashion Designers of American] Awards are the Golden Globes — slightly more fun and relaxed, but just as stylish.’
The annual CFDA Awards honors the most talented designers in the industry and brings the biggest names in fashion under one roof. The event took place last night in New York City and honored a couple of people with awards. I can’t speak for everyone but I’m not sure I saw our beloved Beyonce winning the ‘Fashion Icon’ award, but yes! she did win and I’m happy for her.
