Rihanna X Monolo Blahnik

Most definitely topping our Guardian winter traveller’s lust list, we are delighted to welcome the arrival of the high-end footwear brand, Monolo Blahnik’s new collection in collaboration with Rihanna, released on November 16. According to Fashionista, an online publication, the costly collection titled “Savage”, is priced between $895 and $3,995.

Available in ankle and knee length, they come in shades of brown, white and black. The ankle length “Fallon” is inspired by the 1994 signature Timberland boots, with a slight modern pointy twist, the shoes scream luxury from all angles. The breath-taking features of “Alexis”, knee length boots include the delicate-looking suede draped in perfectly placed fur.

This rekindled fashion relationship between Bad girl Riri and Monolo came as no surprise, as the pair launched their denim inspired collection earlier this year in March. The exquisite sparkle embedded denim sandals and boot collection called “Denimdesserts” proved to the world that denim shoes are just as classy as leather.
