SZA Explains Why She Came To The Grammys In Crutches

Solána Imani Rowe popularly known as SZA, has disclosed that she broke her ankle when she was slipping out of her bed before Grammys Awards 2022.

”It’s very funny because I fell out of bed right before it was time to leave and get ready for this. Like the day before, but that’s the way it goes. Everything awesome in my life has always come with something like very random, but it just adds to the energy.”

The singer was seen in crutches and then a wheelchair while heading to receive her win for Kiss Me More with Doja Cat in the Best Pop Duo category.
The star said she would not allow her injury to come in the way of the prestigious evening ahead.
The 32-year-old took to her Instagram stories, to show her ankle being treated by a doctor on Monday which she captioned “Lmao it’s confirmed broken… I thought it was just sprained [crying emoji] I was NOT missing that carpet.”
