T.V Personality Beverly Turner Claims Meghan Markle Aims To Be U.S President
Meghan Markle has aspirations to become President of the United States, according to Beverly Turner. She told presenter in his Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine show that she had it on “good authority” that the Duchess of Sussex intends to run for office in a report by The Mirror.
Meghan and Prince Harry moved back to the United States in January, leaving the royal life behind, and have been vocal on a number of political matters such as Black Lives Matter and climate change.
Turner stated that she did not know when Meghan might make a bid for the White House, but it could be in the not too distant future.
In Turner’s word:
She will run for President, I have no doubt about it. I have no doubt, I think this is all part of the plan. It may not be very soon but it will be.
A rather skeptical Jeremy Vine said it was the “first time I have ever heard anyone say that.”
I have it on fairly good authority that she would like to run for President. There may be worse Presidents, I would like to see a mixed-race woman in the White House, I would.
The Duchess of Sussex has hit out at the treatment by “those in the corridors of power” in her first speech since quitting her role in the royal family.
In a pre-recorded video, Meghan spoke to the Girl Up 2020 Leadership Summit, as part of a session called “The Time Is Now”.
Speaking from her Los Angeles home, Meghan, 38, said:
I want to share something with you. It’s that those in the halls and corridors and places of power, from lawmakers and world leaders to executives, all of those people, they depend on you more than you will ever depend on them. And here’s the thing: they know this. They know that all of you, at a younger age than any modern comparison, are setting the tone for equitable humanity. Not figuratively, literally. This is a humanity that desperately needs you.
Meghan and husband Prince Harry left their royal roles officially in March and now live in a friend’s borrowed £14million mansion.
