Taylor Hawkins And Stephen Sondheim Honoured At The Grammy Awards
The Grammy awards notably takes place with an “in memoriam” tribute to those in the industry who have passed on over the past year.
This year’s Grammy began with video footage in respect to Hawkins, who died while on tour with the Foo Fighters in Colombia.
The Grammy’s also honoured late Stephen Sondheim composer whose works were performed by Broadway stars like Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, and Leslie Odom Jr who and were also joined by “West Side Story” star Rachel Zegler for a soaring variety of songs from Sondheim’s works and ended with “Somewhere” from the iconic musical ‘West Side Story’.
Others honoured in the tribute were rapper DMX, Rolling Stone Charlie Watts, sixties star Ronnie Spector and Meat Loaf.#
