The Grammy awards is no doubt one of the most special award shows. One of the few occasions where a simple tux or a little black dress just won’t cut it, its red carpet requires bold expressions of personality. The traditional splendour was more pared down due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the celebrity Grammy outfits were still A+.

The show was broadcasted from Los Angeles and hosted by Trevor Noah. It was full of glitz and glamour and was graced with performances from Doja Cat, Cardi B, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, BTS, Megan Thee Stallion and so many more.

Two of Africa’s biggest Afrobeats stars, Burna Boy and Wizkid both won awards at the 2021 Grammys; Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category while Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift Album.
