Enjoy Some Prawn Spring Rolls By Following This Recipe 

Love some spring rolls? You can enjoy your favorite snack as a vegetarian or non-vegetarian option. 

Enjoy the taste of the ocean wrapped in your rolls by making some prawn spring rolls this Sunday. You’ll no doubt enjoy it.

Prawn springroll ingredients

  • Spring roll wrapper
  • Prawns 
  • with vegetables; cabbage, carrot, spring onions 
  • Ginger 
  • Garlic 
  • Black pepper
  • Soy sauce 
  • Salt 
  • All-purpose flour 
  • Vegetable oil 

Sauce Ingredients 

  • Sugar 
  • Fish sauce
  • Vinegar 
  • Chilli paste

 Method 

  • Start by cleaning up your prawns, de-shelling, and deveining. Then finely chop them into smaller bits. 
  • Add chopped carrots, onions, garlic, sugar, pepper, and salt to the same bowl. Mix until you get a uniform consistency. 
  • Also, mix flour and water in a separate bowl to create the sealing paste.
  • On a flat surface lay the spring roll wrappers in a diamond shape.
  • On each wrapper, place a small amount of filling. Hold the edge, fold over the filling towards the other end, and then pull it tightly towards you, so the filling is nestled inside. Remember; the tighter the roll, the less likely it is to break when frying. 
  • Fold both ends towards each other to form a cylinder, sealing the ends with flour paste. Repeat the process for the number of spring rolls you want. 
  • Heat some vegetable oil in a pan and fry each roll, making sure to do 4-5 rolls at a time to prevent soggy rolls. 
  • Place each fried spring roll on a strainer to drain excess oil. 
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl to make the sauce, adding seasoning based on your taste. 
  • Serve the spring rolls and dipping sauce on a large platter. For an added flair, you can sprinkle mint leaves on the spring rolls.
