Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) for the second time in two years. The 43-year-old was cited by police officers in Beverly Hills on Friday, Nov. 24 after witnesses allegedly observed her car stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive, with her appearing to be asleep at the wheel.

Haddish was released several hours after her arrest. She has pledged to seek help to address her drinking habits and prevent future incidents.

“I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” Haddish told Entertainment Tonight. “I take responsibility for my actions and deeply regret the inconvenience and disruption this has caused to others.”

Haddish’s previous DUI arrest occurred in January 2022. She was arrested in Atlanta after officers responded to a report of someone sleeping behind the wheel. Haddish faced charges of DUI and improper stopping on a roadway, eventually being released after posting a $1,666 bond.

Haddish has expressed remorse for both arrests and is committed to making changes to ensure that they never happen again. She is currently seeking professional help for her drinking habits.

“This is a difficult time for me, but I am committed to learning from my mistakes and becoming a better person,” Haddish said.
