Tina Knowles Lawson, the mother of Beyoncé and Solange, has filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, actor Richard Lawson.

Court documents obtained by TODAY.com show that Knowles-Lawson cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She also listed the date of separation as Tuesday, July 25.

Knowles-Lawson, 69, and Lawson, 76, were married in 2015 in Newport Beach, California. The twosome exchanged vows onboard a 140-foot yacht in an intimate ceremony alongside Knowles’ daughters Beyoncé and Solange. The “Formation” singer’s husband, Jay-Z, and their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, were also in attendance.

This is the second divorce for Knowles-Lawson. She was previously married to Mathew Knowles, the father of Beyoncé and Solange, from 1980 to 2009.

No further details about the divorce have been released.
