Demilade Olaosun, a leading Nigerian entertainment lawyer, received an Outstanding Leadership Award at the recently concluded Global Legal Conference, Law 2.0, in Las Vegas, United States of America.

The Conference had over 3,000 people in attendance at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas and Mr Olaosun spoke on emerging global legal markets alongside other distinguished professionals.

Mr Olaosun, who heads the media and entertainment law firm, RBMM Solicitors, said it was a great honour to be recognized for his practice of entertainment law which he described as a risk which has now paid off.

He said: “It’s a great honour to have been recognized for my contributions to the field of entertainment law in Nigeria. Starting out RBMM Solicitors in 2012, when there was indeed no law firm practicing entertainment law as a dedicated area of practice was a risk that 10 years later has now paid off.

“We continue to work to develop the entertainment industry and position it for greater global collaborations and opportunities.”

His entertainment law firm continues to represent several Nigerian celebrities and organizations, including Funke Akindele, Reminisce, Niniola, Do2DTUN, Chidinma, Teju Babyface, Ashluxe, Smids Animations, Ovation Magazine, Nse Ikpe-Etim, and BoxxCulture.
