Two Women Drop Sexual Assault Lawsuits Against Trey Songz
Two women who filed lawsuits against singer Trey Songz alleging sexual assault in 2015 have voluntarily dismissed their cases, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The lawsuits, filed in October 2023, accused Songz of non-consensual sexual acts at a party at his home.
Neither party has provided a reason for dropping the lawsuits. Songz has denied all allegations of sexual assault throughout his career.
The two women, identified in court documents only as “Jane Doe A” and “Jane Doe B”, alleged they were invited to a party at Songz’s house in August 2015 and were pressured to drink unsealed bottles of liquor.
They further claimed that they woke up to find Songz engaged in non-consensual sexual acts with them.
The woman said that Songz insisted the women shower with him and upon their refusal, he had them removed from his residence.
While the two women have dropped their lawsuits against Trey Songz “without prejudice,” it’s important to remember that this action doesn’t automatically imply the accusations were untrue.
