Actress Uzo Aduba and her husband Robert Sweeting have announced the arrival of their baby girl, Adaiba Lee Nonyem. The couple shared the news on social media, expressing their joy and love for their new daughter.
Aduba posted a photo of herself holding baby Adaiba on Instagram, writing, “We love you so much, Adaiba Lee Nonyem – Daughter of the people, treasurer of the mother’s names who came before you. You are loved beyond measure.”
The couple’s baby announcement was met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and celebrities alike. Many took to social media to congratulate the new parents and wish them well.
Aduba and Sweeting first announced their pregnancy in August 2023, sharing a photo of themselves cutting a cake with the words “Baby Sweeting” written on it. They later revealed the baby’s gender and name in a November Instagram post, writing, “We’re having a girl! Her name is Adaiba Lee Nonyem.”
Aduba and Sweeting have been married since 2020. Aduba is best known for her roles in the television series “Orange Is the New Black” and “In Treatment,” for which she has won two Primetime Emmy Awards. Sweeting is a film producer.
