Media personality VJ Adams and Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye have again stirred romance rumours following a recent episode of Adams’ podcast, Off The Top, where the actress appeared as a guest.
The episode, released on Monday on YouTube, featured an extended conversation in which both discussed personal experiences, shared jokes and exchanged light moments that drew reactions from viewers.
During the chat, Ademoye spoke about her upbringing in Ikorodu, Lagos, and shared her thoughts on marriage, saying she would prefer a small, intimate ceremony.
“I want a very, very small wedding. I want like angels falling down from the sky. I would probably take it to Ebute-Meta, where I grew up,” she said.
The actress added that her childhood environment played an important role in shaping her values and outlook on life.
Ademoye also spoke about parenting, noting that she was raised by her father and would likely adopt his approach in raising her own children.
She further confirmed during the podcast that she is dating, while many viewers focused on the ease between her and the host, with light-hearted reactions online about possible wedding plans and family ties.
Speculation about a possible relationship between Adams and Ademoye has lingered since 2024, following their public appearances, playful exchanges and social media posts. Neither of them has publicly confirmed the rumours.
In April 2024, Adams addressed the topic during an interview on Channels Television’s Morning Brief, where he spoke about Ademoye without giving a direct response to questions about their relationship.
“I know of her work as a family-oriented person. She is an incredible actress. She respects her work and is constantly working. I know she is a good person. I have all of this information. It could only mean one thing,” he said.
The discussion gained further attention during Ademoye’s birthday last year after Adams shared a video on Instagram showing a surprise setup he organised for her.
When asked during the interview whether Ademoye was safe with him, Adams laughed and said she was safe with him, just as anyone else around him.
He also spoke about marriage plans at the time, noting that discussions with family would come first.
“I will speak with the family, and then we will make a decision, but that is for both parties to have an agreement,” he said.
