Wande Coal Takes Chilling Love To The Hood
Music lovers who have been yearning for Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, performance, had more fun than they expected and enjoyed one of the best music acts last recently at Trace Live with Wande Coal. The concert presented by Trace in partnership with Bolanle Austen-Peters and supported by Lord’s Gin, Tom Tom, Desperados, Leadway Assurance and refreshed by Pepsi was hosted by comedian Lasisis Elenu and Pencil.
It was not surprising for the show not to witness massive overflow due to the artiste’s pedigree. From his days at Mo’Hits delivering killer bangers on songs like Ololufe, Pere, Close to You and Booty Call to his debut album, Mushin 2 Mo’hits and now, Legend or No Legend, Wande Coal.
Wande Coal has been described as GOAT of Afrobeats for his distinct sound, which has influenced many of the artistes such as Wizkid, Omay Lay, Davido and others we listen to today.
Trace Live concert held at the Terra Kulture was an unforgettable time for Wande Coal’s fans who had yearned for some live performance and new music from their favourite.
The hall of the concert slated for 7. p.m was already filled by 5. p.m. The air was filled with anticipation as the crowd further poured into the venue, an ocean of excited faces ready to be transported into a world of musical brilliance; and there was no dull moment for the fans as both Elenu and Pencil delivers ribs cracking performances to cheer the crowd.
Almost 10 minutes before the star was ushered in, the lights dimmed while fans anticipated his arrival and the first chords reverberated through the air, a collective roar erupted, shaking the very foundation of the venue.
When the artiste finally mounted the stage at 9:33 p.m., he performed songs from his latest album, Legend or No Legend, then followed with songs from his extensive hits collection.
As the night progressed, an infectious energy swept through the venue. Strangers became instant friends, bound together by their shared admiration for Wande Coal’s mesmerising talent.
Every lyric sung, every beat dropped, solidified the unbreakable bond between the artiste and his devoted fans. It was a timeless night where the world outside ceased to exist, leaving only the effervescent energy of the music.
The concert packed a lot of beautiful and exciting moments, which got fans screaming at the top of their lungs.
