We reported earlier that the sexual activities of the housemates on the Big Brother Naija show have captured the attention of the federal government with a complaint lodged with the National Broadcasting Commission.
The Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Segun Runsewe, stated this when the President of the National Council of Women Societies, Dr Gloria Shoda, visited him.
He said that in 2020, the NCAC would represent the 2008 Nudity Bill titled “A Bill for an Act to punish and prohibit nudity, sexual intimidation and other-related offences in Nigeria,” sponsored by the former chairperson, Senate Committee on Women and Youth, Eme Ekaette.
Khafi is possibly going to face a sanction when the show ends from her employers as a report by The Sun has it that the 29-year-old was denied permission to appear on the reality show. Scotland Yard said it had not granted her request to appear on the programme and that an internal investigation would be carried out.
The Met said Khafi was granted unpaid leave for an “unrelated reason” ahead of appearing on the show but her request to take part in the programme was denied.
